Sandra Rečičárová, MD

Sandra Rečičárová, MD, Ph.D., MBA, FRSPH, is a physician specializing in cardiovascular surgery. Since 2018, she has been working at the Institute of Clinical and Experimental Medicine in Prague, Czech Republic, after graduating from Pavel Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, Slovakia. Following her medical education, she pursued studies in healthcare management at Cambridge Business School, where she completed her MBA degree in 2020.

In 2024, she was honored with membership in the Royal Society for Public Health in the United Kingdom. In 2025, she obtained her Ph.D. in experimental surgery from the 1st Faculty of Medicine at Charles University, with her research focusing on the evolution of thoracic aortic pseudoaneurysms.

Dr. Rečičárová has completed numerous professional internships in cardiac surgery departments, including VÚSCH in Košice, Slovakia, Deutsches Herzzentrum in Berlin, Germany, and the European Hospital in Rome, Italy. She currently works at an outpatient clinic that serves patients with thoracic aortic pathologies and is proficient in five foreign languages...
