Learning objectives:

After this course, you will have the knowledge and skills to perform standard open and endovascular access procedures for classical surgery as well as for EVAR, TEVAR, and F/B-EVAR. You will be able to make measurements for planning access for endovascular procedures and you will be able to conceptually treat complications associated with these access site procedures.

First to third-year residents in cardiac and vascular surgery, as well as interventional radiology/angiology.

Focus:

Aortic surgery in detail --> what you always wanted to know.


Learning objectives:

After this course you will have the knowledge and skills to conceptually perform any extent of aortic arch treatment including combined vascular and endovascular procedures, fenestrated and scalloped solutions, aortic arch replacement using the FET technique as well as branched endovascular aortic arch repair. Furthermore, TA replacement will complete the course.
