He earned his medical degree from the University of Bern and subsequently achieved board certification in both general and vascular surgery. Recognized for his expertise, he holds the prestigious title of Fellow of the European Board of Vascular Surgery.

To further enhance his clinical and research skills, Dr. Wyss undertook a clinical research fellowship at the Vascular Surgery Research Group at Imperial College London, United Kingdom. During this tenure, he honed his expertise in aortic disease, encompassing both endovascular and open-surgical techniques.
