Naci Cem Aydoğdu, MD
Naci Cem Aydoğdu is a cardiovascular surgery resident at Siyami Ersek Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital in Istanbul, one of Turkey's highest-volume centres for aortic and cardiovascular surgery.
His clinical and research interests focus on aortic and structural heart surgery, with particular attention to open and endovascular aortic repair. He is particularly interested in aortic research, with a focus on the biochemical and pathophysiological pathways underlying aortic disease. He has contributed to peer-reviewed publications and received national awards for his scientific presentations in cardiovascular surgery.
Alongside his clinical training, he serves on the board of the resident branch of the national cardiovascular surgery society, representing cardiovascular surgery residents across Turkey. He is committed to advancing education, international research collaboration, and interdisciplinary exchange in aortic medicine.
