Helena Kirr is an early career resident, working in Freiburg in the department of Cardiac-, Vascular-, Thoracic and Aortic Surgery. 

Her main research focus is the risk stratification of aortic disease using image analysis and computational simulation, leveraging modern methods to improve early detection, individualized risk assessment and clinical decision making in patients with aortic pathologies.
