Introducing the Organ Aorta
A Milestone in Medical Advancement

Join us in unveiling a groundbreaking milestone in the medical field: the recognition of the aorta as a human organ. Watch as Prof. Dr. Martin Czerny presents the latest guidelines.

After this course you will have the knowledge and skills to conceptually perform root sparing aortic valve replacement, aortic arch replacement using the FET technique as well as branched endovascular aortic arch repair. Furthermore, TA replacement as well as feVAR/bEVAR (including iliacs) will complete the course.

After completing this course, you will understand the disease forms the basis, being familiar with the treatment options available, enlarges the armamentarium and being able to implement them into clinical practice provides the freedom and the flexibility to offer sustainable personalized solutions to treat patients with acute and chronic aortic pathology in an aortic team.

For experienced users, we'll highlight troubleshooting and the versatility of endovascular repair from the aortic arch to the iliac axis. Day one's theory will end with case planning on the 3D workstation EndoSize and planning the next day's BEVAR case.

On day two, participants will join the pre-operative briefing, focus on the day's case, learn on-table deployment of a pre-cannulated endograft, and observe a BEVAR procedure.
