Mario Lescan, vascular surgeon, M.D. is the head of the division for vascular and endovascular surgery and also the head of the endovascular aortic surgery programme of the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at the Tübingen University Medical Centre, Tübingen, Germany.
Born in Bosnia and Herzegowina in 1980, he obtained his medical degree in 2007 from the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen, Tübingen, Germany.
Dr. Lescan has co-authored over 45 publications in the field of cardiovascular surgery. His research interests include aortic remodeling after TEVAR and molecular interventions in the pathomechanisms of the aortic wall.
